The Production Crystal^® Pxx Filling Line has been designed to address the large scale pharmaceutical filling, with a capacity to fill commercial batches up to half a million vials a day.

The Production Crystal® Pxx Filling Line machines can be operated by three persons and requires only electricity and clean compressed air to operate. Using parallel movements for vial conveying in filling and laser re-sealing stations allows to process from 6 to 24 vials at the same time.

For the same reason, capacity up-grading from 6 pumps up to 24 pumps is very easy and requires only limited on-site modifications as the machine frame remains identical. Only pumps and lasers have to be added on the machine and correspondent control cabinets in the control room.

The main characteristics of the Production Crystal^® Pxx Filling Line are:

• Very limited space required as the equipment footprint is approximately 44 sq. m. (~ 500 sq. ft.) size for the overall process;

• Ready-to-Fill Closed Vials are processed in parallel in filling and laser re-sealing stations;

• Equipment meets all requirements from authorities to be approved as GMP production line, including capping in ISO 5 environment;

• An advanced containment system allowing operations in a ISO 8 environment, the Closed Vial Filling System (CVFS).
