In view of the key advantages of the Crystal® Technology, such as unbreakable container and filling performed in a closed environment - as it takes place directly in a closed vial - Aseptic Technologies is currently developing solutions which are fully compliant for filling bio-hazard material, cytotoxic drugs and other highly potent products.
The solution consists in a closed envelope (closed CVFS or isolator) surrounding the Closed Vial, already acting as an isolator at item level. Active cleaning and decontamination systems are installed and the overall machine has been designed to facilitate cleaning.
